Family situation

Poor household. My parents work hard in the rice field so that me and my brother can go to school. We come home many days without our parents home so they can work to earn money for food. Some days after school I need to sell lottery tickets and then I help my brother with his school work. They cannot buy us books and paper, pencil. So I borrow from my friends everyday to do my school work. Our house is dilapidated. I wish I get a scholarship so that my parents can have the money so they can buy food and not work so hard and be home with us.

Social worker comments

This family is extremely poor and has barely enough to feed and send the children to school. If an organization can support a scholarship it will help to ease the difficulties of this family.
