Family situation

My grandfather sits in a wheelchair – My grandmother is disabled, weak. Government sponsor 200,000 to my grandfather. My parents work for other person. My family has to work in the farm to early morning to late at night. I come home and never see my parents until I go to bed. I do my homework and wish I can play with my parents. They must work hard to put us kids in school. So I say nothing so they can work. I wish I can get a scholarship so that my parents can come home and I can do my school work better.

Social worker comments

This family lives under very poor conditions. They must work and the children come home many days without the parents. The grandparents cannot do much for them and so they must be on there own. With a scholarship, one parent can stay home to help with the children.
